We will make reasonable efforts to provide fast and professional assistance, but estimated arrival times are not guaranteed and may be affected by traffic, weather, distance, road closures, accidents, police restrictions, availability or other circumstances outside our control.

3. Quotes and Pricing

Prices may vary depending on:

  • vehicle location;
  • recovery destination;
  • distance travelled;
  • vehicle type, size and weight;
  • whether the vehicle is driveable or non-driveable;
  • whether the vehicle is damaged, locked, blocked in or difficult to access;
  • time of day;
  • road conditions;
  • equipment required;
  • whether additional waiting time is needed.

Any quote provided is based on the information given by the customer at the time of booking. If the information provided is incorrect, incomplete or changes when we arrive, the price may change.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a job if the vehicle, location or circumstances are materially different from what was described.

4. Payment

Payment terms will be confirmed before or at the time of booking.

Unless agreed otherwise, payment may be required before dispatch, on arrival, before loading the vehicle, or immediately after the service has been provided.

We may accept payment by bank transfer, card, cash or another agreed payment method.

If payment is refused, delayed or reversed, RH Recovery 247 reserves the right to recover the outstanding amount, including any reasonable costs incurred in pursuing payment.

5. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate and complete information, including:

  • exact vehicle location;
  • vehicle make, model and registration;
  • vehicle condition;
  • whether the vehicle starts, rolls, steers and brakes;
  • whether the keys are available;
  • whether the vehicle is locked;
  • whether the vehicle has been involved in an accident;
  • whether the vehicle is on a motorway, red route, private land, restricted area or unsafe location;
  • destination address;
  • any access issues or special circumstances.

The customer is responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to request recovery or transportation of the vehicle.

We may request proof of ownership, authority, identification or permission before recovering or transporting a vehicle.

6. Access, Safety and Refusal of Service

We may refuse, pause or cancel a job where:

  • the location is unsafe;
  • the vehicle is not accessible;
  • the customer has provided incorrect or misleading information;
  • the vehicle cannot be recovered safely with available equipment;
  • the job requires specialist recovery equipment not available at the time;
  • the customer is abusive, threatening or uncooperative;
  • there is a risk of damage, injury or unlawful activity;
  • police, highways officers, landowners or other authorities prevent access.

Safety will always take priority.

7. Waiting Time

Waiting time may be charged if our driver arrives and is delayed due to circumstances outside our control, including:

  • customer not being present;
  • missing keys;
  • blocked access;
  • incorrect address;
  • police or authority delays;
  • vehicle not ready for collection;
  • destination not ready to receive the vehicle.

Waiting time charges will be explained where applicable.

8. Cancellations

If you cancel a job after a driver has already been dispatched, a cancellation fee may apply.

If our driver has already arrived or travelled a significant distance, you may be charged for call-out, travel time and reasonable costs incurred.

If we are unable to complete the job because the customer provided incorrect information or failed to attend, the job may still be chargeable.

9. Distance Selling and Urgent Services

Where a customer books services online, by phone or by message, distance selling rules may apply. UK guidance states that customers should generally be told about cancellation rights for distance purchases. However, where a customer asks for a service to begin urgently within the cancellation period, they may still be required to pay for services already provided.

For emergency recovery, roadside assistance and urgent call-outs, you agree that RH Recovery 247 may begin providing the service immediately or within the normal cancellation period.

If the service has already been fully provided, or if the driver has already been dispatched at your request, cancellation rights may be limited and reasonable charges may apply.

10. Vehicle Condition and Existing Damage

We may record the vehicle condition before recovery or transportation where practical.

The customer should notify us of any existing damage, mechanical issues, missing parts, lowered suspension, steering problems, brake problems, wheel damage, accident damage, bodywork damage, or other relevant issues before recovery begins.

RH Recovery 247 is not responsible for pre-existing damage, mechanical faults, electrical faults, leaks, bodywork defects, loose parts, tyre issues, or damage caused by the vehicle’s existing condition.

11. Liability

We will take reasonable care when handling, loading, transporting and unloading vehicles.

However, RH Recovery 247 is not liable for:

  • pre-existing vehicle damage;
  • mechanical or electrical failure;
  • personal belongings left inside the vehicle;
  • delays caused by traffic, weather, accidents or authorities;
  • loss arising from incorrect information provided by the customer;
  • loss of earnings, missed appointments or indirect losses;
  • damage caused by unsafe or unsuitable vehicle condition;
  • damage caused by inaccessible, restricted or unsafe locations;
  • third-party actions outside our control.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Personal Belongings

Customers should remove valuable or personal items from the vehicle before recovery or transportation wherever possible.

RH Recovery 247 is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle unless caused directly by our proven negligence.

13. Delivery Destination

The customer must ensure the delivery destination is accessible, safe and authorised to receive the vehicle.

If the destination cannot accept the vehicle, access is blocked, or the customer changes the destination after the job has started, additional charges may apply.

14. Insurance

RH Recovery 247 aims to operate professionally and safely. Where applicable, vehicle handling and recovery services may be covered by relevant business insurance.

Customers are responsible for maintaining their own vehicle insurance, tax and legal road status where required.

If you require confirmation of insurance before booking, please request this before the service begins.
